Shinelle's friend Desiree convinces her to give the older boys another chance. "Them is real man, girl," she tells Shinelle, "Them does treat you like you is a real woman. You ain't want none of them lil boys again after them!"
Before she knows it, Shinelle ends up in a guest house, attired in only her undergarments. She feels uncomfortably exposed. She tries not to turn to her side to look at her friend locking lips with the mohawk asshole in swimming trunks. Then, all of a sudden, it hits her...
A slight frown creeps across her lips as she remembers her conversation with her brother. He had seemed so in love, and he had always been so determined. She wonders how it would be to have someone feel like that for her. She looks at the mohawk guy and notices him kissing his reflection in the mirror. She gags.
"This so wrong," she thinks. She doesn't want to be there anymore. In a sudden move of protest...
She fakes a panic attack and epileptic fit. She jumps wildly on the bed. The boy looks at her in confusion while Desiree crosses her arms in disgust. Shinelle flops around on the floor. The boy exclaims, "Allyuh young girl want to get man in trouble!" and he puts on his clothes and leaves. Desiree shakes her head. Desiree and Shinelle will never speak again.
As Shinelle puts on her clothes and heads home, a faint smile appears on her face.
