Artee has found a new hobby in literature... aside from Twilight. She has fallen in love with Mr. Darcy from Pride & Prejudice. Devika smirks when she sees how engaged she is with the book. But Devika has been distracted during her reading... by Ricky. She asks Artee to go with her to the park.
Devika tells her that she has a confession. Artee is more than intrigued. Devika tells her about the boy in the park... and that she might like him. Artee is delighted. She asks what he looks like.
"He uh... he black," Devika says.
"Oh..." Artee says, glancing away for a second. "You know Daddy going to kill you dead, right?"
Devika is silent. Artee lets out a small chuckle and adds, "But nobody have to know! It could be your lil secret. I ent gone tell nobody, girl."
At the same time, a girl hails out Artee. A girl in a blue top comes running up to them. "Gyul, that is you?!" the girl says, "How you lookin water-down so! Like your man controlling what you wearing in public without him!"
The girl is her secondary school friend. Devika steps aside and listens to the girl go on and on in graphic detail about her last sexual encounter in Zen car park. Artee is disgusted but Devika realises that if she has to interest a man... a man who isn't a total loser and emo... she needs to start dressing like this girl.
Devika asks Artee to take her out shopping. Artee is concerned. But she says nothing. She feels sorry when Devika points out the worst possible combinations of dresses and tops to her. She helps Devika pick out a nice outfit. Nothing too slutty.
When Devika gets home, she lets down her ponytail. She needs to try on her new clothes now. Artee wants to tell her to stop behaving like a girly little fool, but realises that she isn't in any real place to be telling other people to not be a girly little fool...
