Episode 31: One Mouthful

A year has passed. Bobby and Shinelle have both grown to be teenagers.

Shinelle wrote SEA and passed for Holy Faith Convent while Bobby passed for Couva Sec.

Ricky and Devika are still a couple but there have been a few bumps along the way.

Whitnee is proud to see her children growing up but is very lonely.

And Margarita hasn't had any luck with men... and has gone into a deep depression that nobody has noticed.

As Margarita looks at herself in the mirror, she is appalled by her old looks. "What have I been doing..." she asks herself as she remembers her late husband. She feels extreme guilt as she scowls at herself in the mirror.

As she goes outside to celebrate Shinelle's birthday, she finds herself in a daze. As Shinelle speaks about her dreams of studying abroad on a scholarship, Margarita finds that she could care less.

When the party is over, two words cross Margarita's mind: "One mouthful." She sits and ponders about them.

The days pass as Margarita's depression worsens considerably. She tries to talk to Whitnee but Whitnee just seems to discard everything she has to say. In fact, she had seen Whitnee looking through a retirement home catalogue ... or at least she thought so.

Margarita decides to pay Buddy the vagrant a visit. This is her last remaining hope.

She immediately regrets it as Buddy doesn't remember who she is. She recalls their restaurant date but he can't remember a thing. He then tells her to make him a sandwich or get the hell off his property. She doesn't bother to respond.

She goes home and repeats the two words: "One mouthful". She walks to her backyard and says a prayer.

Then she takes one mouthful.

Bobby finds the body one hour later.
